Here, I came across an article about these weirdly fun-looking Ruby Ruth Dolls made out of recycled fabrics, by the British studio artist, Jenny Mustill. I couldn’t help but smile in front of my computer screen, out of fascination by those desirable yet, so simple creations of Mustill.
Mustill said to Cool Hunting that she feels that her creations “bring life” to the rejected fabrics, with which the dolls are made. She also admitted in the article that her previous designs were “significantly weirder” but I believe, that fact that these weird creatures were hand made in an attempt to reuse what people consider ‘junk’ is quite impressive. Furthermore, I could not help but be so excited about every single of one the dolls in Ruby Ruth Dolls’s webpage with their own personalized descriptions!
I consider Ruby Ruth Dolls to be based on traditional values but delivered through a uniquely charming way. Furthermore, with so much things happening everywhere and anywhere presently, such simple artistic musing can light up so many faces even just for a while.
